Jen Jordan, the founder of Slate & Hearth, became an Airbnb host in 2013.

In 2015, Jen started working with homeowners around Philly. She helped them list, and rent their homes on Aribnb. Her hosting was recognized by a reporter from Philadelphia Magazine. The reporter's parents were Jen's guests. A few months later, Jen was crowned The Queen of Airbnb Philly.

Slate and Hearth has since expanded. We have multiple professional cleaners on staff, a team of assistants to inspect the houses and respond to guests, and a marketing team. These dedicated teams are here to serve you!

Laundry
If you need to use the washer and dryer in your property, we like to give guests a heads up that sometimes the cleaners leave a load of linens and/or towels running in the dryer because the cleaning is completed before the final load is dry. This especially happens if there is a quick turn around.
If you find there are towels or sheets in there please just put them aside and feel free to use the machine.

Red Brick Craft Distillery is a local craft distillery producing high quality, small batch spirits. Their cozy little tasting room is open select hours on Fridays and Saturdays (We recommend calling or checking social media to confirm the hours before heading over).
